Without our parents we wouldn't be here today. They get on our last nerves, but being a teenager we have to understand that out parents wants us to succeed in life without any struggling. They want us to make good choices in life and accomplish our goals. Being a teen we want to go out and have fun. But if you have strict parents like me, they want you to focus in school and then fun later. They always lecture us, and we don’t want to listen, but we have to listen to what our parents are saying. They’re not trying to steer us wrong, they just want the best for us. At the end of the day our parents will ALWAYS be there or us.

 Everyone has there first "A" or second plate of food or third strike of acting up until you get a beating, and can remember it vividly. I personally have had all of that but i can remember the very first time i truly fell deeply in Love. it was the 6th grade at Carroll MS in the hallway by the gym. I walk to the water fountain to get a drink when all of a sudden i saw this beautiful Dominican girl named Asjha walk out of the gym with a hot-pink Nike bag and white basketball shorts. We instantly locked eye contact. i was so astounded by her beauty, i had t introduce myself. She did the same. I would say that she had me at "hello" but it didn't start that way. Although, i can say that i did fall for her at that instant and a couple weeks later she was my girlfriend/first love. From that moment on, we went from being the cutest couple in the 6th grade to the most inseparable people in the world.

Total Manipulation

The world has lots of people that are either good or bad. The majority of those people are mean and hostile. The most worst people are bullies. There have been bullies for a long time and the would do it to your face but now, in this new generation, there is cyber bullying.

Cyber bullying is an act of manipulation and hazing through the internet, text messages, instant messages, chat rooms, and creating websites or blogs about that person. Sending bad messages to other people is cruel, disrespectful, and immature.

Cyber bullying is a huge problem all over the world. With problems, there's always consequences. If the bully is of the age 18 and older that can ultimately result in a legal charge of a class 1 misdemeanor. If under the age of 18 that charge will also result in a misdemeanor but will be level 2 and still severe. Bullies would also get long term suspension when the bullying eventually got to the school authorities. People these days tend not to care about the consequences of those sorts so they keep it up and eventually, no matter the age rather 18 and over or 18 and younger, consequences would rise to probation or even jail time.

A water bottle is used by the more then one player. They may drink apple juice ore Gatorade. It keeps me Healthy and because I am thirsty. water is a super hero.

Florida Bill Opinion

Florida Bill Article

After reading about the Florida Bill, my opinion on buying sweets with food stamps is that people who own a food stamp card should be allowed to buy sweets. They should be allowed to buy anything they would like. People are different from each other, and they have different ways of eating, exercising, and living. So, if that person wants to purchase a lot of sweets, that's up to them. If they want to purchase healthy and hearty foods, that's up to them. It really shouldn't matter to the government. Because the stamps are in their possession now, they can buy any type of food they want to buy.

The Person That Inspires Me

The person that inspires me the most is Kobe Bryant. He inspires me because he never gives up. Even though he broke his nose and could have sat out for some of the season, he still played. He did not give up,and plays like his nose is not broken.

I can relate to Kobe because last year in school my grades were not good. I never gave up. I tried hard,and they did go up. That's why Kobe inspires me.

Sojourner Truth

In 1851 Sojourner Truth gave a speech in Akron,Ohio to a group of women's rights advocates. She was making a statement that women are just as important as men are and that women can do anything a man could. She was disputing the stereotypes that all women are weak and are not smart, and the truth of the matter is that now in 2012 more women are graduating high school and receiving their college degrees. Men and women are just as important as each other and should embrace the fact that their genders are recognized for being intellectual and important beings. -ac :)

The importance of being grateful

I would have to say that in my 15 years I really didn't appreciate life enough. When I was younger and earlier this year I always wanted things to go my way, and I always took life as a big joke. I complained on how things weren't good enough for me, or it wasn't something that I liked. I was just really ungrateful and selfish. When I look back on my actions and realize how ungrateful I was, I just get so angry with myself. I never thought to myself and said, "There are other people out in the world who don't have anything (like clothing and shelter), and I sit around being a selfish person and not be grateful for anything." Now I see how important it is to be happy with what you have and to be a grateful person.

Holiday Party

If I were to host a holiday party, I would gather all decorations and put them up all around the house. Then I would include more decorations to the ones I already have. When that's all done, I would design the invitations and send them all out to the guests. Next, I would get the tree, put it up, and make it all nice and colorful. When I finish decorating my tree, I will go food shopping and get foods/snacks that go along with the bright holiday, such as cookies, cakes, and holiday foods! I would look for good recipes to make by looking at Paula Deen's website, or possibly the Food Network channel. I would prepare all of the food and desserts and place them in nice, colorful food trays/bowls. I would make the guests feel welcomed by making the house look warm and greeting people. We would also play a little bit of Christmas tunes , watch some Christmas movies, and play games. For choice of movies or perhaps my favorite movies, there would be my most favorite, Home Alone 2, Good Luck Charlie: Its Christmas, e.t.c. For games, I would choose monopoly & the Wii game Just Dance. Everyone would be able to gather around, watch one another play, and take turns playing a variety of different games. In the end all of this equals up to a magnificent Christmas party! Z.C.
